My friends house... Sorry, location is on locks.
You really change this frame around a lot don't you? haha I'm pretty sure I've seen the same frame with like 5 different set ups.
ehh just not a fan of the tread pattern. But small blocks aren't the best either. You should really check out Continental Race Kings, best front tire by farrr.
naww man thats just the angle the tree is way outa the way.
Yess, better with a break on haha. Except that front tire sucks lol.
I figured screwing a bunch of 2x4s into a sheet of plywood wouldn't be the best idea. This is just way more solid.
Thanks for the compliment. Oh yess, just finished that, now theres 8 screws per 2x4! Two on each rib.
Dude that almost happened! But I jumped off ahah. You don't get much speed to do super air outs though, so its chill.
yep, no more braking after the landing so you don't crash into the fence and die ahah.
It was a little under $200 for the whole thing, like 4x 4x4s, 4x 2x12s, 35x 2x4s, and a ton of screws. Not tooo bad.
Hard to take a pic from the side cuz theres a fence behind me and a tree over there but the 8 foot radius is from cutting a 2x12 and 2x4. Here were my plans, changed the 2x6 to a 2x12 after I drew them up tho: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2602/4096193481_c4d610901d.jpg

Ooo nice! here i drew up some super quick plans for you. I think you should build it exactly like diss: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2659/4137145099_b4320d2958_o.jpg
The dotted line is ground level, so any white space below it is what is dug down and anything above it is what is piled up. Im down to help too. |
What I've always wanted to know is does the friction occur against the frame/bb, or the crank arm?
Yeah it did that at first it was pretty annoying but i just packed it down at the top since i don't really fall up there and threw a carpit over that and its been pretty good.
Nice! I got mad respect for anyone that builds ramps this way, its takes sooo much effort. But worth it in the long run imo.
Its not really one of those frames you hit jumps with and then raise the seat and go do xc.
So legit. Can't wait to see it built up!
I have one jankety ass quarter with a deck, a kicker, a landing, and this.
Its actualy a hayes 5" rotor with an avid front brake adapter.
Ahaha from the little thumbnail picture i thought this was like oil leaking out but never minddd lol.
But you still owned it! ahah good work. Cam threw down for sure. Everyone did!
No offence, but you probly could have built that a little better.
Thats massive! I'm seriously blown away.
I can't tell if your joking or not haha.
You missed a spot at the bottom there
Sick bike, looks cleannnn.
How do you likes those tires in the 2.0 version? Not too skinny? |
Nobody else was there besides me and this one kid he just chilled there and wanted to take a few pics.
I saw a guy taking pictures haha wow I shoulda said something.
You can 270 it then, and downside whip.
btw that looks like a good spot, props. |
You probly wouldn't use your $2,000 bike. Come on people common sense here.
I actually like this color a lot better then just plain raw or whatnot.
